Dentistry From The Heart

Our 4th Annual Dentistry from the Heart Event will be held October 6, 2012.

October 8th, 2011, we hosted our 3rd annual Dentistry from the Heart event (Our 2009 free day was the first Dentistry from the Heart event ever held in Washington State). To date, we have treated over 300 patients. We treated 107 this year. Our team of four doctors and eighteen volunteers worked for twelve hours providing cleanings, fillings, and extractions to anyone in need.

Dentistry from the Heart is a national non-profit organization with a simple mission - making people smile. Founded in 2001 by a dentist in New Port Richey, Florida, DFTH was created to aid those in need, including the growing population of under-insured Americans. Over 100 million Americans lack dental insurance, and over 29 percent of adults have untreated cavities. Without events like DFTH, dental care simply is not an option for many of the uninsured. To date, DFTH nationally has helped over 5,000 patients and provided over $1 million in dental care.

Our third annual event was a resounding success and we will again host a Dentistry from the Heart event in 2012. Thank you to all the sponsors and volunteers whose time and support made our event possible.
